Motorbike riders hit by car after two arrested following fight outside Henley Beach pub
Police say two motorcyclists have been taken to hospital after being struck by a car following a fight outside an Adelaide suburban hotel.
Police were initially called to the scene at Henley Beach about 11:10pm yesterday after reports of an "altercation".
They said several of those involved left the scene on motorcycles and headed north along Seaview Road.
About 10 minutes later, emergency services were diverted to the intersection with Grange Road where a Nissan X-Trail that was also travelling north had allegedly hit three bikes, leaving two of the riders with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The two 20-year-olds, from Davoren Park and Elizabeth Grove, were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. A third rider who left the scene on foot has not yet been found, police said.
"We're still trying to work out the exact circumstances that led up to this crash," Senior Constable Rebecca Stokes told ABC Radio Adelaide.
"We're keen to speak with anyone who was perhaps at the pub and saw this fight earlier, or perhaps saw the vehicles as they were travelling along Seaview Road.
"They may have dash-cam footage that might be helpful."
A 41-year-old Clearview man who police allege was driving the car was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital as a precaution.
Police have charged him with two counts of causing harm by dangerous driving, as well as fighting in a public place.
A passenger — a 20-year-old man also from Clearview — was charged with fighting in a public place.
Both men were granted bail ahead of scheduled appearances in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court next month.
Detectives are investigating the incidents and have asked anyone with further information to contact Crime Stoppers.
