Queensland police searching for potentially armed man in Brisbane, wanted over weapon and criminal offences
By Meg BoltonQueensland police have appealed for urgent public assistance to find a potentially "armed, dangerous" man believed to be in Brisbane.
Police said the 30-year-old is a potential risk to the community and is wanted in relation to "a number of weapon and criminal offences".
He was last seen in the northern suburbs of Brisbane this morning near Carseldine and Aspley.
Authorities said he could be on a motorbike and is known to frequent the Logan and Bayside areas.
He is described as Caucasian with a heavy build, short light brown hair and blue eyes with distinctive tattoos, including a large tattoo on his lower left leg.
Police said he also has a crown tattoo on his right hand.
Members of the public are urged to not approach him and to call triple-0 if they know his whereabouts.
